PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device and an image forming device for accurately correcting the skew of recording media to be carried toward an image transfer part.

SOLUTION: The carrying device is provided for carrying the recording media P toward the image transfer part. It includes an abutting member 32 for closing a carrying passage for the recording media P to abut on the front ends of the recording media P moving in the carrying passage and then opening the carrying passage, and a varying means for varying the crosswise inclination (a X1 or X2 direction) of the abutting member 32 to the carrying direction of the recording media P.
