<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that improves durability against variation in fuel-tank internal pressure without significantly increasing the weight of the fuel tank itself. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fuel tank 1 stores fuel inside a tank composed of a steel plate. A reinforcement target area is reinforced. The reinforcement target area includes an element in a plurality of elements, whose maximum main strain value exceeds one fifth of the range of strain generated in the steel plate when a load, making the tank internal pressure 8 kPa, is repeatedly applied by the number of times of the target fatigue lifetime of the fuel tank 1 if a deformation analysis by using a finite element method is executed in a state that the tank internal pressure of the fuel tank 1 is set to 8 kPa.
