<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical glass which shows good processability, particularly at surface finishing carried out by grinding and polishing, and a glass molded product and an optical device using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical glass comprises a SiO<SB>2</SB>component, a B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>component and a BaO component and has a Knoop hardness of ≥550 Hk. The glass molded product is made of the optical glass. The optical device is manufactured by using the optical glass as a preform and subjecting the glass molded product to reheat press molding.
