PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adsorption of dusts and suspended solids onto organic layers from outside, and improve reliability of organic light-emitting elements. SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting elements have a substrate 1, a plurality of pixels formed on the substrate 1, and auxiliary electrodes 3 formed between the plurality of pixels. Moreover, respective pixels have the lower part electrodes 2 installed separately from respective pixels, organic compound layers 5 including light-emitting layers, and upper part electrodes commonly installed straddling over the plurality of pixels in this order from the substrate 1 side. A manufacturing method of the organic light-emitting elements has the following four processes. A process of forming the organic compound layers 5 on the lower part electrodes 2 and the auxiliary electrodes 3. A process of forming first upper part electrodes 6 commonly straddling over the plurality of pixels on a surface of the organic compound layers 5. A process of partly removing the organic compound layers 5 and the first upper part electrodes 6, and exposing the auxiliary electrodes 3. A process of forming the second upper part electrodes 7 commonly straddling over the plurality of pixels on the first upper part electrodes 6 and the auxiliary electrodes 3.
