<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small/low-profile and high-gain antenna. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An antenna 1 includes: a first transmission line 11; a second transmission line 12 electrically connecting one end thereof with the first transmission line 11, electrically connecting the other end thereof with a ground conductor 15 and having an electric length shorter than that of the first transmission line 11; a capacitive element 13 electrically connecting one end thereof with the other end of the first transmission line 11 and electrically connecting the other end thereof with the ground conductor 15; and a power feeding unit 14 electrically connecting one end thereof to the ground conductor 15 and electrically connecting the other end thereof with an electric connection part of the first transmission line 11 and the second transmission line 12. The first transmission line 11, the second transmission line 12 and the ground conductor 15 are conductor patterns of a printed circuit board, the capacitive element 13 is a chip capacitor, the chip capacitor is surface-mounted on the conductor patterns, and a coaxial cable is connected to the power feeding unit 14.
