<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring control system automatically setting a terminal name of a device terminal without erroneous registration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The monitoring control system includes: an operation terminal 1; the device terminal 2; and a controller 3, wherein operation notification generated by the operation terminal 1 is transmitted to the controller 3 and is transmitted as a radio signal, the device terminal 2 transmits reception notification of the operation notification to the controller 3 when receiving the operation notification by the radio signal from the operation terminal 1, and when receiving the operation notification from the operation terminal 1 and receiving the reception notification of the operation notification from the device terminal 2 within fixed time after reception of the operation notification, the controller 3 sets the same piece of data as preset place name data of the operation terminal 1 which transmits the operation notification to place name data of the device terminal 2 which transmits the reception notification of the operation notification.
