<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components in a conveyance mechanism and to simplify a conveyance mechanism. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The disk conveying device includes: a picker 14 for vertically driving an arm 30 inserted into the center hole of a disk 1 and holding the disk; a guiding member 15 for vertically guiding the picker 14; a sensor 20 for detecting the vertical position of the picker 14; and a control unit for raising the arm 30 when the sensor 20 detects rise of the position during lowering the arm 30.
