The present invention relates to a catalyst for preparing synthesis gas from natural gas and carbon dioxide and a preparation method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for preparing synthesis gas to use carbon dioxide economically, wherein the synthesis gas is suitable for methanol synthesis and can be used in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis by maintaining a specific ratio [H2/(2CO+3CO2)=0.85 ˆ¼ 1.15] of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen through a mixed reforming reaction which causes a steam reforming reaction of natural gas and a carbon dioxide reforming reaction of methane at the same time. In addition, the present invention relates to: a catalyst for performing methanol synthesis or Fischer-Tropsch synthesis using synthesis gas which is prepared in the presence of a specific catalyst consisting of Ni/Ce/MgAlOx or Ni/Ce-Zr/MgAlOx; a preparation method thereof; and a method for preparing synthesis gas using the catalyst, which is suitable for methanol synthesis and can be used in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Accordingly, the catalyst according to the present invention suppresses the inactivation of a catalyst caused by cork generated during a reaction and also suppresses the inactivation of a catalyst caused by re-oxidation of nickel due to water added during a reaction. Therefore, the catalyst according to the present invention has excellent reactivity as compared with conventional catalysts for mixed reforming reactions. |
