<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism in which a negative ion generator can be activated either as a single use or as an illuminating use, wherein a negative ion generating functional portion is separated from an illuminating functional portion assembled in one case and given a structure capable of attaching or detaching, then, resulting to expand use application and also to contribute to effective utilization of the lifetime of each component. <P>SOLUTION: A fluorescence tube portion 15 is composed of a glass bulb 11 enveloping a filament 12 being fixed to a seating 13 and a cable line connecting the filament 12 to a male connector 14. A negative ion generator 16 and a lighting circuit 17 are connected to an input power supply socket 18 respectively, and the lighting circuit 17 is connected to a female connector 19 through a cable line, and a body portion 20 building them inside is equipped with a negative ion discharge aperture 21.
