<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive roll of an electrophotographic device, by which electrical resistance in a urethane foaming layer is made low, variation in conductivity due to use in a durable period hardly occurs and furthermore, variation in electrical resistance in the urethane foaming layer is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A composition for the urethane foaming layer 2 is prepared by mixing a premixture which is made by mixing each component below except for (F) and a prepolymer which is made by having the components (A), (B) and (F) react at a specified ratio so that the contained ratio of the component (G) in the composition for the urethane foaming layer 2 is within the range of 0.05 to 10 wt.%. The urethane foaming layer 2 is formed on an outer circumferential surface of a shaft body 1 with the above composition. (A) polyether polyol in which EO unit is less than 30 mol% and Mw is within the range of 1,000 to 6,000. (B) polyether polyol in which EO unit is 50 mol% or more and Mw is within the range of 3,000 to 15,000. (C) a carbon black. (D) a foaming agent. (E) a catalyst. (F) isocyanate.
