<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit capable of being easily manufactured and enhancing heat-dissipation efficiency, and to provide a lighting device using the lighting unit. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting unit includes a plurality of printed wiring boards 3, a plurality of side view type LEDs 4 mounted on the printed wiring boards 3, and a supporting means 5 for supporting the plurality of the printed wiring boards 3. The supporting means 5 has a pair of outer side supporting plates 8a, 8b arranged facing each other and an inner side supporting plate 9 arranged between the pair of the outer side supporting plates 8a, 8b at a predetermined interval. A plurality of slits 10 extending in a direction of one side edge portion of the inner side supporting plate 9 are provided at other side edge portion, other side edge portions of the printed wiring boards 3 are inserted and supported in each of the plurality of the slits 10, and the plurality of the printed wiring boards 3 are supported by each of the pair of the outer side supporting plates 8a, 8b from an outside in a longitudinal direction of the printed wiring boards. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
