<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, an image processing program, and a recording medium effectively using a memory. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-function apparatus 1 performs image processing in which segregation is performed to extract image features by pixel from image data read from a document with the use of a plurality of line memories and the image data is processed using predetermined set parameters according to the result of extraction in the segregation, and image adjustment of setting the set parameters in the image processing with the use of a plurality of line memories according to pattern document image data read from a document with a predetermined pattern image recorded thereon.
