<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the miniaturize a device by so constituting a serial system inkjet recording device as to simultaneously perform the fixing with fixing rollers and the recording with a recording head and, at the same time, suppress the generation of uneven fixing due to an intermittent fixing. <P>SOLUTION: Fixing and recording are simultaneously performed under the condition that the nip width of the fixing rollers is set to be an integer multiple of the nozzle width of an inkjet recording head.
