<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing electrophotographic toner excellent in dispersibility of a coloring agent and capable of significantly increasing image density, and an electrophotographic toner acquired by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrophotographic toner has a process to mix a dispersion liquid of coloring agent-containing polymer particles and a dispersion liquid of resin particles containing substantially no coloring agent, and to aggregate the coloring agent-containing polymer particles and the resin particles.
