摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide capable of lessening reduction on light intensity arrived at an observation position in a slant direction from screen both side sections in case that the light guide is applied to a display device having a large observation angle range and suitably observing the whole display screen. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting surface 33 of the light guide 3 has light diffusivity, a first light diffusivity range 331 is formed on a center section concerning to a direction along a light incident end face 31, and second light diffusivity ranges 332, 333 having high light diffusivity rather than the first light diffusivity range are formed on both sides. The second light diffusivity ranges 332, 333 are formed at a length corresponding to the whole length of side end faces 35, 36, and are made of high light diffusivity ranges 332a, 333a located near the side end face and formed at a length corresponding to its whole length, and low light diffusivity ranges 332b, 333b located far from the side end face and formed at the length corresponding to its whole length and having a lower light diffusivity rather than the high light diffusivity range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
