PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the alarm period by a battery driven alarm by reducing power consumption required for alarm. SOLUTION: A fire gas leakage alarm 50 which issues an alarm by detecting the generation of abnormality in a monitor region includes: a detection processing part 51a for detecting the generation of abnormality; an alarm output means for performing prescribed control for performing alarm output when abnormality is detected; and a threshold processing part 51c for performing prescribed control for controlling the alarm output means to discontinuously perform the alarm output. The threshold processing part 51c controls to detect abnormality generation or to intermittently operate alarm output by the alarm output means by an interval based on the residual capacity of a battery as the power source of the fire gas leakage alarm 50.
