PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer having a relatively low melting point and excellent solubility in various kinds of solvents, to provide an organic semiconductor material and a light-emitting material containing the (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer, and to provide a method for producing the (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer. SOLUTION: The (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer is represented by formula (1) [wherein, R1to R5are, each independently, H, F, a 1-16C alkyl group, a 1-6C alkoxy group or a 1-6C perfluoroalkyl group; A is H, phenyl group or a 1-16C alkyl group; (m) is an integer of 1 to 3; R6to R9are, each independently, H or a 1-16C alkyl group; mR6s may be identical or different each other; mR7s may be identical or different each other; at least one of mR6s, mR7s, R8, R9and A is a 1-16C alkyl group].
