<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the coupling structure of a reducer and an electric motor which can ensure sealability at the mating portion of a motor frame and a mating flange, and at the counterbore of the mating flange without using an alant. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A counterbore 13a is formed in the end face of a motor frame 13 which is fixed to a mating flange 14 by means of a through bolt 21, a first counterbore 14a and a second counterbore 14b are formed, respectively, in the opposite end faces of the mating flange 14 which is coupled to a reducer side bracket 15 by means of a coupling bolt 22, a counterbore 14c for receiving the head of the coupling bolt 22 is formed on the first counterbore 14a side, a counterbore 15a is formed in the end face of the reducer side bracket 15 which is fixed to a reducer 1 by means of a fixing bolt 23 of the reducer side bracket, an annular plate 31 is arranged at a position where the opening of the counterbore 14c is closed, and its inner circumferential surface is clamped between the end face of the motor frame 13 and the mating flange 14, while being supported by the mating flange 14.
