The installation has first and second lighting modules generating a first dipped beam based light distribution (31) and a second main beam based light distribution. A third lighting module has first and second sets of activated photodiodes distributed along a matrix. A control unit controls photodiodes to generate a third light distribution. The third module is respectively connected with the photodiodes during lighting of a pavement (1) according to the first and second distributions. The first set is differed from the second set by the number and/or position of the photodiodes in the matrix.
