<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt drive device which exerts control by correctly detecting a meander of an endless belt by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The belt drive device includes: an endless belt 5; a plurality of rollers 50, 51, 52, and 53 which extend the endless belt 5 tight and run the belt; a sensor 64 which detects a widthwise end position of the endless belt 5 on the rollers; and a running position control device 58 which controls the running position of the endless belt based on an output from the sensor 64. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
