<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate conveying device in a component mounting apparatus, capable of surely detecting the end face of a conveying direction of a substrate to be conveyed even if a notch is present on the end face of the conveying direction of the substrate. <P>SOLUTION: At least a part of the upper portions of a conveying belts 112 contacting a substrate 1 to be conveyed is hanged over a plurality of pulleys 14 each having a different height position, and the upper portion is divided into a plurality of portions. Between each of the divided upper portions, a gap 16 and a transmission substrate detection sensor 12 for detecting the substrate 1 to be conveyed are provided, respectively. The light emitting section 12A and the light receiving section 12B of each of the substrate detection sensors 12 are arranged so that the propagating direction of light L2 radiated from the light emitting section 12A to the light receiving section 12B is orthogonal to the substrate conveying direction, and the light L2 passes through the gap 16 and includes the whole of the end face 1A of the conveying direction of the substrate 1 to be conveyed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
