<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing fish from straying and entering, installed in a portion where the quantity of water varies largely such as an intake or an outlet to surely generate sound for evading fish even when it is affected by variation in quantity of water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Even when a distance from a pipe body 18 changes at the end on the opposite side to a connector 40 side of a power transmitting branch wire 41 with stretching and loosening of a power transmitting main wire 39, metallic plates 25, 26, 27 are lifted according to such displacement so that the metallic plate 27 and the pipe body 18, or the metallic plate 25 and the metallic plate 26 collide with each other to generate impact sound, thereby evading straying and entering of fish to the intake 1.
