<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block entry of unnecessary light from the outside of a lens device without increasing the size of the lens device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A lens holding frame includes: an annular section 401 located on the outer circumferential side of a lens to be covered; a plurality of caulk pawls 403 (caulk portions formed by caulking the pawls) which are disposed on the internal circumferential side of the annular section 401 and used for fixing the peripheral edge of the lens 113, which is to be covered, to the annular section 401 by its being caulked; and mask support sections 404 which are disposed between the caulk pawls 403 and on the internal circumferential side of the annular section 401 and each of which has a planar portion 404a intersecting an optical axis toward an object to be imaged. Thus, the caulk portions for fixing the lens 113 and the planar portions 404a of the mask support sections 404 are arranged side by side on the outer circumferential side of the lens to be covered.
