<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent substance mixture-packaging vessel, capable of preventing scattering of a red fluorescent substance, and suppressing the reaction of the red fluorescent substance with moisture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tube of a mixture of the fluorescent substance of tetravalent manganese-activated tetravalent metal fluoride which emits white light highly efficiently and yields a white light having very proper color reproducibility (NTSC ratio), a resin, and the like. As a result of this, it is possible to prevent the scatter of the fluorescent substance of the tetravalent manganese-activated tetravalent metal fluoride, and shield the moisture and to prevent the generation of HF (hydrogen fluoride).
