摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of mist of liquid droplets to a discharge head. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of nozzles for discharging liquid droplets 10a are arranged almost linearly to form nozzle rows 58a and 58b and a discharge head 50 having a plurality of the nozzle rows 58a and 58b arranged thereto almost in parallel to each other is provided. The discharge operations of the liquid droplets 10a from the nozzle rows 58a and 58b in the discharge head 50 are performed so as to be changed over alternately. Thus, the liquid droplets 10a are not discharged from the adjacent nozzle rows 58a and 58b at the same time, the occurrence of air streams going toward the discharge head 50 from an absorbing member 133 is not produced and the adhesion of the mist of the liquid droplets 10a to the surface of the discharge head 50 can be prevented.
