PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of banking dike capable of coping with various types of external force such as earthquake, flood or the like. SOLUTION: This reinforcing structure of the dike is constituted by constructing a sheet pile wall 2 having higher degree of water cut-off function than that of the banking ground constituting the dike close to top of slope on a river channel side of the dike, constructing a sheet pile wall 3 having higher degree of water permeability than that of the sheet pile wall 2 having high water cut-off function close to top of slope on a private land side, and connecting both of these sheet pile walls 2, 3 mutually in the horizontal direction by using a connection member 4.
