BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYPROPYLENE FILM AND APPLICATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polypropylene film having a strength and heat resistance improved compared to those of a conventional biaxially oriented polypropylene film. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polypropylene film has a tensile modulus within the range of 3.0-10 GPa in the machine direction. Preferably, the biaxially oriented polypropylene film has a tensile modulus within the range of 3.0-10 GPa in the cross direction. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film further has ≤1.0% maximum elongation in the machine direction by a thermomechanical analysis (TMA) at 90°C. The release film is obtained by forming a release resin at least on one surface of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
