摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing toner for electrophotography, having no problem such as generation of coarse particles and a broader distribution of particle size in capsulating the toner so that toner can be easily designed for various uses, and to provide the toner for electrophotography obtained by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing toner for electrophotography includes:(1) a step of adding a coagulant to a resin particle dispersed liquid (a), keeping the coagulant concentration and temperature in a system to Ea(mol/1) and Tg+25°C or less (Tg is a glass transition point of resin constituting resin particles in the resin particle dispersed liquid (a)), respectively, and coagulating the resin particles to obtain a coagulated particle dispersed liquid (A); (2) a step of adjusting the coagulant concentration of the coagulated particle dispersed liquid (A) obtained in the step (1) to Eb(mol/1) within a range of 0.1×Ea-0.95×Ea(mol/1), and/or adjusting the temperature in the system to Tb°C within a range of (Ta-2)-(Ta-50)°C to obtain the coagulated particle dispersed liquid (B); and (3) a step of adding a resin particle dispersed liquid (b) to obtain a resin particle-adhering coagulated particle-dispersed liquid (C) while keeping the coagulant concentration Eb(mol/1) and/or temperature Tb°C in the coagulated particle dispersed liquid (B) obtained in the step (2) substantially to the range of the step (2).
