<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button keyboard switch having a nameplate sheet with a waterproof countermeasure set on a push button in a reader/writer of a vending machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The push-button keyboard switch is arrangement at the front side of a unit case with a plurality of sets of push buttons comprising a double-structured cap with an inner cap 10a and an outer cap 10b inserted in a detachable manner, and a nameplate sheet 10c interposed to be retained between the inner cap and the outer cap. Furthermore, the end side of the outer cap 10b is forwardly exposed through a square button hole formed at a keyboard cover 8a disposed at the front side of the unit case. A packing ring (O ring) 10d is set around the periphery of the inner cap 10a as a water-blocking means for preventing rain water entering a gap between peripheral edges from getting into around the nameplate sheet 10c, and a water-seepage path between the inner and the outer caps into the nameplate sheet 10c is blocked in the assembled state of the push button by means of the packing ring 10d.
