A tedder of the kind having an approximately cylindrical tined rotor 2 transverse to the direction of travel, the motor comprises supporting discs 6, 7 and a plurality of tined bars 4 supported thereby, the bars being turnable relatively to the discs about axes parallel to the axis of the rotor and being securable in an adjusted position by retaining means 29 situated between the tines on the bars. The bars are of anglesection, each tine 3 being double and having its centre-part bolted to one web of a bar and having two looped portions 18 extending through 270 degrees and terminating in legs 20 which pass through holes in the bar to forme the tines proper. As shown in Fig. 2, the holes are offset from the securing bolts so that the tines are not uniplanar. Each bar 2 terminates in a bearing 26 in the end-discs 6 and passes through a clearance hole in the central disc 7, being welded to a rotatable sleeve 27 at this point. The sleeve is integral with a bracket 29 having a spring-loaded locking pin 35 engageable with one of a ring of holes 36 in the disc 7 to hold the bar at a predtermined orientation.
