The device (1) has a separating clutch (5) and a two-mass flywheel (4), which are arranged in series between a crankshaft (2) of an internal combustion engine and a transmission input shaft (3) of a transmission. The two-mass flywheel is arranged at a crankshaft-side and the separating clutch is arranged at a transmission input shaft-side. An output side of the two-mass flywheel is connected with an output side of the separating clutch by detachable connections e.g. external teeth (12) and internal teeth (17). The separating clutch comprises a clutch disk (18) and a clutch cover (19).
