METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT, LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE, AND DISPLAY DEVICE

Disclosed is an organic electroluminescence element manufacturing method using a relief-printing method capable of preventing the color mixture which might otherwise occur when inks are fed.  Also disclosed are a light emitting device capable of preventing the color mixture, and a display device provided with the light emitting device.  The method manufactures an organic electroluminescence element including a pair of electrodes and an organic layer positioned between the electrodes.  The method comprises: a step of providing a substrate, in which plural partitions are arranged substantially in parallel to face each other and in which grooves are formed on the surfaces facing the surfaces on the substrate-side of the partitions along the longitudinal direction of the partitions; and a step of forming the organic layer such that the inks containing the material of the organic layer are fed to recesses formed by the partitions and the substrate by a relief-printing plate, in which plural protrusions are so arranged substantially in parallel with each other as to correspond to the recesses.
