<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system having increased processing speed and improved availability, and to provide a host device thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The memory system 2 includes a nonvolatile memory 6 and a memory controller 7 for controlling the nonvolatile memory.
