<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for microwave oven cooking which can completely prevent a container from being deformed due to the closing of an opened steam vent sealing part by a lid body when the package which includes the steam vent sealing part is cooked in a microwave oven. <P>SOLUTION: In the package for microwave oven cooking formed by filling a stuff in a container body formed of a synthetic resin and having a flange part and then heat-sealing the peripheral edge part of the lid body on the flange to tightly close it, the steam vent sealing part is formed by providing the heat sealed portion of the peripheral edge with a projecting part toward the inside direction of the container.
