<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room entry/exit management system that restricts the passage of temporary passers within a fixed area without increasing the load of setting passage rights to temporary passers. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal controller (2) installed near an entry to an access-restricted area inputs identification information about a passer via a card reader (3). If the passer identification information matches identification information about an authorized passer having the right of passage, the terminal controller (2) enters a temporary passage authorization mode, and when other identification information is input via the card reader (3) in a fixed limited time, identifies that the identification information is about a temporary passer passing temporarily with the authorized passer and registers the identification information with a valid period. When the temporary passer passes later, the terminal controller (2) matches identification information input from the card reader (3) against the registered temporary passer identification information to permit the passage of the temporary passer in the absence of the authorized passer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
