<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle unit capable of avoiding the induction of an erroneous operation associated with a vehicle user's door lock. <P>SOLUTION: In the door handle unit, a door handle case includes divided bodies comprising a first handle cases 11 provided with a grip and a second handle case 12 provided so as to cover the second handle case 11. The upper lock detection electrode 36 and the lower lock detection electrode 37 of an electrostatic capacity sensor are provided on the inside surface of the upper wall 12e and on the inside surface of the lower wall 12f of the second handle case 12 with regard to the door handle. Electrode end surfaces 36c, 37c at a side opposite to the outer panels of the upper and lower lock detection electrodes 36, 37 are formed into different shapes so that a level of capacitive coupling formed between the electrode end surface 36c and the outer panel is set to be smaller than a level of capacitive coupling formed between the electrode end surface 37c and the outer panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
