PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource migration system and a resource migration method for quickly restoring, at a migration destination, a management and use state of a resource at a migration origin. SOLUTION: When any of a plurality of information processors become a migration origin and a migration destination and restores, at the migration destination, management and use state of the resource at the migration origin, an information processor 1 to be the migration destination determines whether or not the copy of main storage content stored in the processor 1 itself to restore the management and use state of the resource at the migration origin, and when it is determined not usable, receives only the copy of the main storage content from an information processor 2 to be the migration destination.
