PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having a completely new structure largely improving properties required for compositions used for self-adhesive materials. SOLUTION: The composition includes a hydrophobic material and a hydrophilic material, where continuous phases (1) and (2) formed with respective hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials mixedly exist in the state of a matrix. The composition can largely improve such properties required for compositions for self-adhesive materials as water absorption power, transparency and holding power by forming a matrix structure wherein the continuous phases (1) and (2) are intricately intertwined with each other.
