<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely activate a function set to be automatically activated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal unit has a plurality of functions, and includes: an authentication setting means for setting whether or not authentication is needed when activating at least one of the functions; an activation setting means for performing setting so as to automatically activate the prescribed function; a determination means for determining whether or not the setting that an authentication operation by the authentication setting means is not needed is performed regarding the activation of the function in the case of the function requiring the authentication upon activation; and an alarm means for reporting an alarm message when the setting that the authentication operation is not needed is not performed as the result of determination by the determination means.
