<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for elevator, capable of preventing, when an abnormal state occurs in the vicinity of an elevator hall on a certain floor, a user in an elevator car from encountering the abnormal state by prohibiting door opening by operation from the elevator hall side, when the car arrives at the floor, to prevent the user in the car from getting off at the elevator hall while reporting the occurrence of any abnormality in the elevator hall to the user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The control device for elevator includes: a door opening prohibiting operation means which is provided on an elevator hall, and registers door opening prohibition for the floor of the elevator hall by user operation; and a control means which performs door opening prohibiting operation, when the door opening prohibition is registered and a car stops at the floor that is the object of the door opening prohibition, to continue a door closed state of the car without opening the door.
