<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary sheet cutter capable of accurately cutting the sheet in every sheet by an extremely simple structure and capable of constituting a device inexpensively. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotary sheet cutter 1 is constituted such that an anvil roll 23 and a die cut roll 24 provided with a cutter 3 are opposedly arranged, and the sheet W is continuously fed between these members and is cut by the cutter 3 of the die cut roll 24 in every sheet W1. A measuring roll 21, a driven roll 22 and the anvil roll 23 are synchronously rotated by driving of a servo-motor M1, and the die cut roll 24 is rotated by driving of the separate servo-motor M2. A control means for driving and controlling the respective servo-motors M1, M2 synchronously rotates the die cut roll 24 with the anvil roll 23 at a fixed area (synchronous band R) where the cutter 3 is opposed to the anvil roll 23 and variably controls a rotation speed of the die cut roll 24 so as to freely change length of the every sheet W1 at the other area.
