<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester that automatically avoids deformation of a side divider caused by interference with a ridge and automatically returns the side divider to an original operation position when the side divider is separated from an interference with a ridge. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the combine harvester including a reaping portion 20, a front side divider 110 extended from the side portion of the reaping portion and an operation apparatus that changes the front side divider arranged between the body of the reaping portion and the front side divider from an operation position projecting outward in the transverse direction of the body of the reaping portion to a storage position close to the body of the reaping portion, the operation apparatus includes a motor 151, a connection mechanism that includes an intermediate link rod 130 for connecting the motor to the front side divider and an arm 150, a supporting member that includes a bracket 101 for supporting the motor movably outward or inward in the transverse direction and a base 140 and an energizing member 160 for energizing the motor through the supporting member to a fixed position.
