<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorbent having excellent gas adsorption performance to adsorb a stink containing an acid, for example, acetic acid and a stink containing an aldehyde which hardly declines the gas adsorbing performance by heat and a gas adsorbing material using the gas adsorbent. <P>SOLUTION: The gas adsorbent contains a support in which an organic silicon compound having an amino group and/or an imino group is supported on a carrier and a water swelling layered mineral and is obtained by dispersing the support and the water swelling layered mineral in an aqueous medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
