<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a precoated steel plate with excellent designability and adhesive properties, even in the case that an upper layer coat is made up of an aqueous coating material. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a first coat forming process to form a first coat by applying a water-soluble treatment liquid containing a water-soluble phenol resin (a) and a titanium compound (b) and containing no chromium, to the surface of a galvanized steel plate, and drying the treatment liquid at 50 to 200°C, and a second coat forming process to form a second coat by applying an aqueous coating material containing an urethane-based aqueous resin (A) and a colored pigment (B) onto the first coat and drying the aqueous coating material at a temperature which falls within the range of 120 to 220°C and is higher than the drying temperature in the first coat forming process. The content of the urethane-based aqueous resin (A) to the overall coat forming components of the second coat, is 40 to 90 mass%. Further, the coating build-up of the first coat is within the range of 0.01 to 1 g/m<SP>2</SP>, and the coating build-up of the second coat is within the range of 5 to 25 g/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
