PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable valve gear, and an engine device and a vehicle having the same, smoothly switching a cam member between a first cam member and a second cam member while using centrifugal force. SOLUTION: This variable valve gear 50 has the first cam member 52 rotating synchronously with a camshaft 51, the second cam member 53 relatively rotatable to the camshaft 51, a reverse rotation checking mechanism 54 checking the second cam member 53 in relatively rotating to the camshaft 51 in the inverse direction opposite to the camshaft rotating direction by the centrifugal force corresponding to a rotating speed of the camshaft 51, and a one-way clutch 65 for checking the second cam member 53 in relatively rotating in the camshaft rotating direction to the camshaft 51 and allowing relative rotation in the inverse direction to the camshaft 51. The cam member is switched to the second cam member 53 from the first cam member 52 when the reverse rotation checking mechanism 54 checks the relative rotation of the second cam member 53.
