PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive circular saw machine with small size capable of suppressing generation of a waste material in an end material as much as possible when a rod material, a pipe material or the like is cut at predetermined length. SOLUTION: The circular saw machine 10 stops descending of a round rod W by a work receiving support part 24, and fixes the round rod W at upper and lower sides of a cutting position by the circular saw 34 at a stop position of the round rod W by releasably clamping the round rod W by upper and lower movable jaws 14b, 15b and upper and lower fixed jaws 16, 17. After stopping of descending of the round rod W by the work receiving support part 24 is released, the round rod W is cut by the circular saw 34. Thereafter, fixing of the round rod W by the lower movable jaw 15b is released. Thereafter, in the state that descending of the round rod W can be stopped by the work receiving support part 24, fixing of the round rod W by the upper movable jaw 14b is released.
