PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method for shortening the processing time of generation of a composite image without deteriorating precision of superposition, in image processing for generating a composite image from small images such as partial images. SOLUTION: The superposition lines of the input small images of one frame are greatly thinned out and designated according as they are separated from predicted superposition pixel lines predicted by a prediction means.
