PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily perform confirmation of effect obtained by a photographing mode, when photographing using the photographing mode according to the kind of the photographing image, the purpose of photographing, and the like. SOLUTION: In a photographing waiting state during a special photographing mode, a condition reflected image which reflects the photographing condition corresponding to the photographing mode, and a basic image reflecting the standard photographing condition, are created from images photographed one by one. Partial images corresponding to a special feature region determined corresponding to the photographing mode are acquired individually from both the images. Partial images 205, 205 thus obtained are enlarged and composited on the condition reflected image 201 and the basic image 202, and arranged and displayed on a monitor screen as first and second through images.
