POLYLACTIC ACID FIBER, FABRIC, AND TEXTILE PRODUCT

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid fiber of high flameproofness, to provide a fabric containing the polylactic acid fiber, and to provide a textile product including the fabric. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polylactic acid fiber is made from a polylactic acid composition comprising (i) poly-L-lactic acid (A-component), (ii) poly-D-lactic acid (B-component), and (iii) 0.05-5 pts.wt. of a specific phosphoric ester metal salt (C-component) based on a total of 100 pts.wt. of the A-component and the B-component. The polylactic acid fiber also contains a flameproofing agent. The fabric containing the polylactic acid fiber and the textile product including the fabric are also provided.
