PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for monitoring a compressor comprising a rotor. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of obtaining a dynamic pressure signal of the rotor, a step of obtaining a blade passing frequency of the rotor, a step of using the blade passing frequency signal for filtering the dynamic pressure signal, a step of buffering the filtered dynamic pressure signal over a moving window time period, and a step of analyzing the buffered dynamic pressure signal to predict a stall condition of the compressor.
